Rocking Chair (Re)Evolution

The Rocking Chair (Re)Evolution is a celebration of mothers, highlighting the visible and invisible labor of mothers worldwide. This display at Weisman Art Museum features 24 rocking chairs, a symbol of rest and human bonding, reimagined as tools for relaxation and connection.

Created by Camille J. Gage Fellow Amoké Kubat, the free exhibit highlights the work of dozens of Minnesota artists. Learn more about Amoké.
